MD of D. G. Controls Ltd, Mr. Jon Whiten was particularly impressed with the MTA’s access to politicians and government when he was invited  to a reception at the House of Commons in November 2008.  Held in the Members Dining Room of the House of Commons, and hosted by Mr. Stephen O’Brien MP, Jon was pleased to meet with Mr. Mark Todd, the Member of Parliament for South Derbyshire.  This gave the introduction which resulted in the visit to deegee by Mr. Todd in February 2009.

The MTA is an Association of companies involved in some way in engineering based manufacturing.  It is focused on the representation of the engineering sector to government, supports members with specific industry intelligence, and hosts the UK’s largest manufacturing technologies exhibition, MACH.
